Craftsmanship that is handed down from generation to generation and Susan Deliss’ creativity are combined in our Debo braids collection that is unique and beautiful and timeless.
 
Debo braids are for upholstery and walling and come in two widths - 21mm (7/8”) and 13mm (1/2”).  
 
Working closely with a wonderful English braid weaver, Susan created twelve two tone braids and one red indigo check to complement all her fabrics.  The machines used are often antique and made partly of wood. Visual and manual skills are integral to each stage of the production process.  When creating this collection, Susan found it thrilling to learn some of the intricacies of braid construction and weaving and to see first hand the skill and complexity of this high form of craft that Susan Deliss is totally committed to nurturing and supporting.
 
Debo, Duchess of Devonshire, who led an extraordinary life and had a natural style that was always rooted in tradition, has inspired this collection.
